Expected results of the project

  • Results of complex monitoring of meteorological conditions and energy consumption in 10, carefully selected farms as a representative for the project objectives, together with its visualisation and data bases allowing for their use by farmers and installers in planning processes of integrated RES systems and energy management on farms and micro-grids,
  • Prototype calculators - 3 pieces (for farmers) and simulation programs - 3 pieces (for installers) with equipment libraries, prognoses of fuel and energy prices as well as meteo data for planning installations of solar collectors, small wind turbines and micro-biogas plants for needs of different types given farm types and integrated systems of various RES, 
  • Elaboration and implementation of advisory system for energy management and dissemination of tools for planning and adjustment of individual (successive) RES on farms for optimisation their mutual integration and cooperation with micro-grids and smart grids,
  • Creation of foundation of information system about RES potential and real conditions for its implementation on rural areas by acquirement of unique in national scale results of monitoring; lack of such data stands one of largest barriers of RES micro-generation development, 
  • Including at least of 50% monitored farms in the energy management system on their farms and induce them to invest in additional RES (base to creation of integrated RES system) and create the origins for at least one micro-grid and balace group (agreement among farmers and creation of technical conditions)
  • Creation of conditions for significant increase of number of a zero-emission RES and share of RES in farm energy balance (more than 20%) and additionally 5-15% decrease of energy and heat consumption (including high-emissive use of coal) in selected groups of farms by improvement of energy management on farms and rise the awareness of farmers as the energy users 
  • Development of possibilities for farm clustering and integration as well as creation of local energy balance groups on certain areas (multiplication effect), which will cause the limitation of energy demands and costs (including environmental) of building new rural and distribution grids as well as decrease of energy losses in transmission in the whole energy system providing improvement of electricity supply security (decrease of grid damages and electricity supply breaks).
